Burkholderia gladioli

An aerobic Pseudomonas-like gram-negative bacterium found in the environment—e.g., plants, fungi—which may colonise the respiratory tract of patients with cystic fibrosis, and can be mistaken for Burkholderia cepacia complex bacteria.
Clinical findings
B gladioli is an opportunistic infection which causes severe pneumonia in patients with cystic fibrosis, chronic granulomatous disease and lung transplants.
