Burial insurance pays for expenses such as preparation of the body, the casket, the flowers, and so forth. The benefits from burial insurance are paid upon death, provided the policyholder does not live past 100. As with all insurance, one pays a premium to receive the benefits. Burial insurance is also called funeral insurance. |
