an aqueous solution of biogenic stimulants with added synthetic substances. The name is formed from the surname initials of the scientists who proposed the method for its preparation, V. P. Filatov, V. A. Biber, and V. V. Skorodinskaia. FiBS consists of a distillation of estuarine mud, cinnamic acid, and coumarin. In medicine it is injected subcutaneously to treat some eye diseases, certain forms of arthritis, and trophic ulcers.
