Location:In the Sierra-Nevada foothills about 25 miles east of Sacramento; can be reached via Highway 50 or I-80.
Facilities:Tent and RV campsites (family, group, and environmental camping),showers, restrooms (é), picnic areas (é), multi-use trails (60miles),paved bike/hike path (é), food service, boat ramps,marina (seasonal), fishing pier (é), visitor center(é).

Special Features:The park's 12,000-acre reservoir is the busiest recreational lake in the state park system, and smaller Lake Natoma, downstream from Folsom Lake, is popular for crew races, sailing, kayaking, and other aquatic sports. For cyclists, the American River Bicycle Path is a 32-mile-long route that connects Folsom Lake with many Sacramento County parks and ends in Old Sacramento.
