Dolina

a city (since 1939) and administrative center of Dolina Raion, Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. The Dolina railroad station is on the Stryi-Ivano-Frankovsk line. Population, 14,000 (1970). The principal industry is oil extraction. The city has a gas-processing plant, two factories producing reinforced-concrete products, a saltworks, a dairy, and the factory Metallist.
