Agenda 21A program run by the United Nations related to sustainable development. It represents a comprehensive blueprint for global action drafted by the 172 governments present at the 1992 Earth Summit organized by the UN in Rio de Janeiro. It is a comprehensive archetype of action to be taken globally, nationally, and locally by organizations of the UN, governments, and major groups in every area in which humans impact the environment.
