Location:4 miles south of Duncombe, off County Road P-73.
Facilities:2 equestrian campgrounds (é) with a combined total of 230 campsites(120 electrical), showers and restrooms, playgrounds, horse wash areas,hitch rails at each site, and arena; equestrian day-use staging areasnear each campground; non-equestrian campground with 47 campsites (37with electric and 10 with full water and sewer hookups); multi-use trails (50 miles), picnic areas, 2 open shelters (é), boatramp, fishing jetties, fishing pier, swimming beach, 2 shooting ranges.

Special Features:Brushy Creek is one of Iowa's largest tracts of public outdoorrecreation land. The park's equestrian camping facilities are among themost modern in the Midwest, and the creek and Des Moines River offerboth scenic beauty and some great fishing. Expansion plans includeconstruction of a 690-acre reservoir and associated facilities.
