Diervilla
Diervilla a genus of deciduous shrubs of the family Caprifoliaceae, closely related to the genus Weigela. The leaves are opposite, simple, and serrate. The flowers are bisexual, irregular, and large, with yellow or greenish-yellow bilabiate corollas, in groups of three to seven at the tips of young axillary or apical branchlets. The fruit is a bilocular pod. There are three species in North America. In the USSR Dier-villa lonicera and D. sessilifolia are sometimes grown as ornamentals.
