Agency Group Agency GroupA number of independent advertising agencies that agree not to compete and to help each other in markets with which other agencies in the group are not familiar. For example, Agency A may be based in New York and Agency B in New Orleans. If Agency B has a client who wants to expand into the New York market, it may call on Agency A for help. The first agency group was established in 1929. They are not as common as they once were, because advertising agencies are increasingly merging rather than working together. An agency group is also called an agency network. |
