Duane-Hunt law

[¦dwān ¦hənt ‚lȯ] (quantum mechanics) The law that the frequency of x-rays resulting from electrons striking a target cannot exceed eV/h, where e is the charge of the electron, V is the exciting voltage, and h is Planck's constant.
