Location:4 miles west of Watsonville, California, alongside Monterey Bay.
Special Features:The threatened California red-legged frog has been documented on the refuge in the past and is presumed to still exist.
Habitats: 139 acres of coastal uplands.
Access: Closed to the public.
Wild life: Santa Cruz long-toed salamander and California tiger salamander.
