CD6 CD6a type I transmembrane protein found on T cells, medullary thymocytes, some cortical thymocytes, a few B cells, and in brain. CD6 is phosphorylated on cellular activation and possibly plays a role in signal transduction; expressed in some B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemias. |
