Location:7 miles north of Knoxville, off IA 14.
Facilities:21 campsites (12 with electrical hookups) with modern shower building,60 equestrian campsites (24 with electrical hookups) with modern showerbuilding, horse stalls, hitching rails, and riding arena, picnic area(1 mile north of the main park) with open picnic shelter, playground,multi-use trails (13 miles), 2 boat ramps.
Activities:Camping, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking.
Special Features:Park is located on 19,000-acre Lake Red Rock, one of Iowa's largestimpoundments. The lake is a major "rest stop" for waterfowl and othermigratory bird species (including white pelicans and bald eagles)during fall and spring migrations.
