film pack
film pack n (Photography) a box containing several sheets of film for use in a plate camera Film Pack
Film Pack a set of from ten to 12 sheets of photographic film enclosed in a special case. The arrangement makes it possible to take several photographs without reloading the film holder. A strip of thick, black paper with a tab is glued to each film sheet. By pulling the tab, one can remove the sheet from the focal plane and place it in the empty part of the film pack; the next sheet will automatically be positioned in the focal plane. Film packs are placed in specially constructed adapters, which are then attached to the camera. |
