cross-browser

cross-browser

Web pages and Web-based applications that render properly in all major Web browsers. Standards from the W3C have helped programmers create cross-browser software. Although a new page can be loaded into different browsers one at a time, a cross-browser utility can render the page in the multiple layout engines all at once such as Trident (IE), Gecko (Firefox), Webkit (Chrome, Safari) and Presto (Opera). See HTML5.
