CCNF A gene on chromosome 16p13.3 that encodes a member of the cyclin family which regulates cell cycle transitions by binding and activating cyclin-dependent protein kinases. CCNF also belongs to the F-box protein family that constitutes a subunit of the ubiquitin protein ligase complex called SCFs (SKP1-cullin-F-box), which function in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination.CCNF
