DeadbeatA person or company who intentionally and repeatedly does not pay his/her bills. For example, a deadbeat may refrain from paying his/her rent. While there is recourse for those dealing with deadbeats (for example, a landlord can evict a person who does not pay rent), this can be expensive and time-consuming.
