a plateau on the southern edge of the Sahara, in the Republic of Chad, situated southeast of the Tibesti Plateau. The Ennedi Plateau, which rises to an elevation of 1,450 m, is extensively dissected by wadi. The flat-terraced summits are covered by low-growing drought-resistant grasses.
