Berchogur

urban-type settlement in Chelkar Raion, Aktiubinsk Oblast, Kazakh SSR, located in the foothills of the Mugodzhary Mountains, 18 km from the Berchogur railroad station (on the Orenburg-Tashkent line). Population, 2,800 (1968). There is a ballast plant and a construction materials plant.
