Special Features:This one-room schoolhouse was built in 1922 for childrenin remote railroad siding and outlaying ranches south of Caliente. Itwas last used in 1967 and has since been restored to its originalappearance. It was approved as a state historic site in 2005 and ismanaged as a unit of Kershaw-Ryan State Park.
