Euroyen EuroyenYen deposits in banks outside the jurisdiction of the Central Bank of Japan, that is, outside of Japan. Euroyen bonds are a highly desired investment because they are highly liquid and subject to fewer regulatory restrictions than other bonds. It is important to note that the term has nothing to do with the euro, and the prefix "euro-" is used more generally to refer to deposits outside the jurisdiction of the local central bank, e.g. "euroruble." |
