Feed Briquetter

Feed Briquetter

a machine for the preparation of briquettes of hay or straw. There are stationary and mobile briquetters (press graders), with periodic (stamp) and continuous (auger and rotary) action.

The stamp in stamp briquetters, in completing a reciprocal movement in the briquetting chamber, compresses the mass loaded into it and pushes the formed briquette to the exit from the chamber. In auger briquetters the rotating auger pushes material into the conical chamber and then into a shaping matrix; the pressed mass is cut into briquettes at the exit of the matrix. As the rollers of the rotary briquetter turn, they push material into press chambers and compress it. The formed briquettes are cut by the walls of the chamber. The output of stamp briquetters is 2-3 tons per hour; of the rotary briquetters, 5-6 tons per hour.
