Dmitriev-Lgovskii

a city (since 1779), center of Dmitriev Raion, Kursk Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the Svapa River (Dnieper basin), 159 km northwest of Kursk, on the Moscow-Kiev highway. It has a railroad station on the Briansk-L’gov line. Dmitriev-L’govskii’s industries include a creamery, a hemp factory, a meat combine, a vegetable-drying plant and cannery, a cart-building factory, and a forestry machine works. There are also an agricultural technicum and a museum of local lore.
