Catalano, Eduardo Catalano, Eduardo (1918–2010)Argentine architect and professor, born and educated in Buenos Aires, he was awarded scholarships to study at the University of Pennsylvania and later the Harvard Graduate School of Design under Walter Gropius. He is best known for the modernist home he designed for himself in Raleigh, North Carolina (razed in 2001). The home, with its innovative undulating parabolic roof over a glass-walled structure, was named House of the Decade in the 1950s by House and Home magazine. |
