Davlekanovo

a city (until 1940, a settlement); center of Davlekanovo Raion. Bashkir ASSR. Situated on the Dema River (a tributary of the Belaia River). Population, 20,000 (1970).

Davlekanovo is the site of a railroad station (96 km southwest of Ufa), a mill, dairy and brick factories, and a children’s-shoe factory.
