DeX

(Samsung DEsktop X) A docking station that turns DeX-enabled Samsung smartphones into a desktop computer starting with the Galaxy S8 and Note 8. When the phone is plugged into the DeX base, the desktop mode is activated. Apps can be opened side by side, and although apps may be optimized for DeX, most Android apps work as well. In addition, various client virtualization products such as Citrix Receiver, VMware Horizon Client and Amazon WorkSpaces allow a copy of Windows to run within the Android/DeX environment. DeX Docking Station
