A block diagram of electronic engine trimming system.i. A maintenance procedure in which the turbine engine fuel control is adjusted. The idling RPM and the high-end performance are adjusted to get the specified values of exhaust gas temperature or engine pressure ratio at the specified RPM. The trim position is generally indicated in percentages.
ii. A method of fuel control in turboprop engines providing protection against overtemperature during starting and acceleration, allowing the engine to operate closer to the maximum turbine inlet temperature, permitting selection of any desired turbine inlet temperature, and permitting a more uniform throttle setting for all engines.
