Location:23 miles north of Burlington on Highway 385, then east on County Road 2 or 3 for about 1.5 miles.
Facilities:148 campsites with electrical hookups, laundry, showers, restrooms, 90 picnic sites, group picnic area,snack bar, hiking trails, bike trails, bathhouse, 2 boat ramps, marina,mooring/docking, boat rental, sailboard and jet ski rental, visitor/nature center(é).
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, jet skiing,sailboarding, hiking, bicycling, hunting (with restrictions),cross-countryskiing, ice skating, ice fishing, winter camping, interpretive programs.
Special Features:A family-oriented park in northern Colorado, Boyd Lake offers not onlya modern water sports facility, but also features an introducedgrassland community of species tolerant of sandy soils and drought,including a thriving prairie dog community. More than 200 species ofmigratory and resident birds also inhabit the park.
