Completeness of equipment is an important prerequisite for a uniform amount of work, smooth operation of the plant, and a rational utilization of production capacity.

In a wider sense completeness of equipment is a concept including not only process equipment but also power equipment, transportation and hoisting equipment, and equipment used in auxiliary and service areas of a plant.

Furnishing complete sets of process equipment is of exceptional importance in constructing new manufacturing facilities; this factor profoundly affects the ability to start operations on time.
