Location:1 mile west of Michigamme to Craig Lake Road; follow signs 8 miles north.
Facilities:Rustic (primitive) campsites, 2 rustic cabins, trails, snowmobile area, boat launch (on Keewaydin Lake only).
Activities:Backpack camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Michigan's most remote state park contains numerous small ponds and sixlakes, including 374-acre Craig Lake, with six islands and high granitebluffs along its northern shoreline. The park normally has nine monthsof snow conditions and provides habitat for a variety of wildlifeincluding deer, black bear, beaver, loons, and a portion of the UpperPeninsula moose herd.
