Both·well B0412600 (bŏth′wĕl′, -wəl, bŏth′-), Fourth Earl of Title of James Hepburn. 1536?-1578. Scottish Protestant nobleman and third husband of Mary Queen of Scots who was suspected of plotting the murder of her second husband, Lord Darnley (1567).
