Comparative Jurisprudence
Comparative Jurisprudence
a method of studying the systems of law of various states, an approach that has gained broad currency since World War II. The growth of comparative jurisprudence has resulted from expanded international ties, including economic ties, and from the reduction in international tension. Since comparative jurisprudence contributes to the standardization and interpretation of the legal terminology of the various states, it is very important to the development and proper use of international conventions on various issues affecting the international community.
