Fisht
a mountain in the western Greater Caucasus, at the sources of the Belaia and Pshekha rivers (Kuban’ River basin) in Krasnodar Krai, RSFSR. Mount Fisht rises to an elevation of 2,867 m. It is composed of limestones, in which karst is present. Broad-leaved and dark coniferous forests grow on the slopes; higher up are subalpine and alpine meadows. There are cirque and hanging glaciers on Fisht.
