Fagan Test of Infant Intelligence

Fagan Test of Infant Intelligence

Pediatric neurology
A test designed to assess visual recognition memory, based on the time that an infant spends looking at a novel stimulus. The FTII is the culmination of years of basic research on infant visual perception and recognition memory abilities, and is a clinically useful test for diagnosing infants at high risk for future mental retardation and intellectual deficit, which allows early intervention in high-risk infants.
