Borisovka

an urban-type settlement and center of Borisovka Raion, Belgorod Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the Vorskla River (tributary of the Dnieper), 7 km east of the Novoborisovka railroad station on the L’gov-Kharkov line. Population, 13,000 (1968). Borisovka has a cannery and a butter plant. Furniture and ceramics are also manufactured.
