Drissa

a river located mainly in Vitebsk Oblast. The Drissa River is a right tributary of the Zapadnaia Dvina River. It is 183 km in length, and the area of its drainage basin is 6,420 sq km. Its source is Lake Drissa, and it flows through a number of lakes. The average annual flow rate at its mouth is 40 cu m per sec. The river is used for floating timber. The city of Verkhnedvinsk is located at its mouth.
