Choushan
Choushan
a group of islands in the East China Sea, off China; situated near the entrance to the gulfs of Hangchou Wan and Hsiangshan Kang. The islands have a total area of 1,554 sq km, the largest being Choushan. Their maximum elevation is 500 m. They have shrub vegetation. Fishing is practiced in the area. The cities of Choushan and Shenchiamen are situated on the islands.
