/bonk/, /oyf/ In the MUD community, it has becometraditional to express pique or censure by "bonking" theoffending person. Convention holds that one shouldacknowledge a bonk by saying "oif!" and there is a myth to theeffect that failing to do so upsets the cosmic bonk/oifbalance, causing much trouble in the universe. Some MUDs haveimplemented special commands for bonking and oifing.
