State: MassachusettsMy mother-in-law was in an accident today. She had a green light and proceeded to go. She was plowed on the side of her car by a truck that went through the red light. She spun around. A man came over and asked if she was alright and said he saw that the man went through the red light. When the cops arrived he told her that the man said she went through the red light. The other witness had left by then. The police officer said there is nothing she could do because there were no witness's. She said the police officer was laughing and joking with the man too. What can be done about this? If anything? She does have whip lash the ambulance was there.
