Form 1041-T

A form that a trust or estate files with the IRS to elect estimated tax payments that the trust or estate makes to be considered as having been made by a beneficiary. For example, if a trust makes an estimated tax payment of $10,000, it may use Form 1041-T to ask the IRS to consider that $10,000 as having been paid by one of the trust's beneficiaries.
