Boletic acid
an acid obtained from the Boletus fomentarius, variety pseudo-igniarius. Same as Fumaric acid.

(1) Referring to the genus Boletus, which is now known as Fomes.
(2) Referring to boletic acid, an obsolete name for fumaric acid.
