bogosity
bogositythe degree to which a thing becomes bogus bogosity
bogosity/boh-go's*-tee/ The degree to which something is "bogus" inthe hackish sense of "bad". At CMU, bogosity is measured witha bogometer; in a seminar, when a speaker says somethingbogus, a listener might raise his hand and say "My bogometerjust triggered". More extremely, "You just pinned mybogometer" means you just said or did something sooutrageously bogus that it is off the scale, pinning thebogometer needle at the highest possible reading (one mightalso say "You just redlined my bogometer"). The agreed-uponunit of bogosity is the microLenat.
