Bobrov

a city, center of Bobrov Raion, Voronezh Oblast, RSFSR, on the right bank of the Bitiug River (tributary of the Don). Railroad station on the Georgiu-Dezh-Povorino line. Population, 17,100 (1968). The city has a drying and canning plant, a poultry combine and a cultural enlightenment school. Bobrov was founded in 1711.
