Astronomicheskii Zhurnal

a scientific journal of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR that publishes scientific articles on all branches of astronomy.

Astronomicheskii zhurnal is published in Moscow. It was founded in 1924 under the title Russkii astronomicheskii zhurnal. Every year it issues one volume consisting of six issues. Since 1957 it has been translated into English in the USA and published under the title Soviet Astronomical Journal.
