释义 | Daly, MaryDaly, Mary(1928– ) theologian, feminist writer; born in Schenectady, N.Y. She studied at the College of St. Rose (Albany, N.Y.) (B.A. 1950), Catholic University of America (M.A. 1952), St. Mary's College (Notre Dame, Ind.) (Ph.D. 1954), and the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) (Ph.D. 1965). She taught at Cardinal Cushing College (1954–59), the University of Fribourg (1959–66), and Boston College (1966). A social critic of the antifeminist position of the Catholic Church and of society in general, she is known for such works as Gyn/Ecology: The Metaethics of Radical Feminism (1978), and Pure Lust: Elemental Feminist Philosophy (1984). |
