Caobang

a city in the northern part of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Administrative center of Cao Bang Province (Bac Bo District, Viet Bac Autonomous Region). Near Cao Bang, in Tinhtuc, are tin deposits and mines and an ore-dressing combine. The city is the trade center for an agricultural region (livestock raising and vegetable growing).
