Chin, Robert Chin, Robert(1918– ) psychologist; born in New York City. This social psychologist taught at Boston University (1947–88). His research focused on group conflict, attitudes, and political behavior, public opinion in China, and organizational development, and yielded such works as Psychological Research in Communist China (coauthored, 1969) and The Planning of Change (coedited, 1969). |
