Derzhavinsk

a city (a settlement prior to 1966), center of Derzhavinsk Raion, Turgaisk Oblast, Kazakh SSR. Located on the left bank of the Ishim River. Railroad station on the Esil’-Arkalyk line. Population, 22,000 (1970). Derzhavinsk has a creamery, a plant producing reinforced-concrete structures, and an agricultural machinery repair shop.
