Disinfection Equipment

equipment for disinfecting buildings and territories (farms, slaughterhouses, storehouses), using cold and hot disinfectant solutions. In the USSR, industry makes disinfection equipment mounted on automobile chassis, motorcycles, trailers, and the like. The main parts of the DUK-2 unit are a tank for the working disinfectant solution, two tanks for initially concentrated disinfectants, a heater (boiler for heating water), a pipeline system, pressure and suction hoses (the former with a sprayer), an aerosol generator, and a receiver. The main tank is filled, and the liquid spray is sent to the object to be disinfected using vacuum and pressure, which are created by the automobile motor. The efficiency of disinfection equipment depends on the distance to the object to be disinfected, the presence of water supplies and approach roads, and other factors.
