Chimishliia

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Chimishliia Raion, Moldavian SSR. Located 12 km from the Chimishliia railroad station on the Bessarabskaia-Bendery line and 75 km south of Kishinev. Enterprises include a winery, a butter factory, the Iantarnyi sovkhoz, and a poultry hatchery. The settlement also has a museum of local lore.
